CyntrX GPS Vehicle Tracking Technology

The way CyntrX tracks a vehicle is done through GPS (Global Positioning System) and cellular communications technology. The process that is used to track a vehicle is as follows:

1.  A person logs into their account by clicking on the Client Login link found in the upper right-hand side of our website.

2.  Once logged in, a person selects the vehile they wish to track and then clicks the ping button to initiate the vehicle tracking process.

3.  Our website sends a message to the CyntrX unit installed on the vehicle telling it to send a message to a Government GPS satellite.

4.  The Government satellite receives the message from the CyntrX unit and tracks the exact location of the vehicle. It then sends a message back to the CyntrX unit giving the GPS coordinates of the vehicle.

5.  The CyntrX unit then sends the GPS coordinate information back to the CyntrX website and those coordinates are used to display the exact location of the vehicle on a Google street map.

This entire process takes less than 10 seconds.
