At CyntrX, we pride ourselves on our technology and our years of successful telematics experience. But all of that telematics and technological expertise is useless without another of our core beliefs: That we should always be delivering exceptional value to our fleet tracking, fleet management, and other telematics customers.
And one of the ways we do that is by ensuring that our platform is not only always delivering value, but also always improving to use new technology and to constantly improve on the experience we deliver to our customers.
With that in mind, please give a warm welcome to Luke Fisher, our Product Development Manager. Luke has been with us for eleven years, and is constantly driving innovation here at CyntrX. He's a valuable member of our team -- and as you'll see, a valuable asset for our customers, as well.
Q. Describe your role at CyntrX in three words.
A. Develop, Support, Influence
Q. What does a typical day look like for you?
A. A typical day would be ensuring project deadlines are on track, employees have the resources they need to get their job done, and any high level support issues are addressed.
Q. What's the most common challenge your customers face?
A. Ensuring their fleets are operating at maximum productivity, efficiency and safety. It is not an easy task by any means. That is why we work hard every day to distill all the data we collect and provide actionable insights for fleet managers to apply and continuously improve the operation of their fleets.
Q. What is something you learned in the last week?
A. That there is always room for improvement. Its not a new notion for me, but it’s always a learning experience striving to make something the best it possibly can be.
Q. What is most rewarding about your job? What makes it all worthwhile?
A. Seeing the work of my team being used by customers every day. It’s extremely fulfilling. Our customers are great to work with and they are the reason we have exceptional products to offer.
Q. What's been one of your proudest moments?
A. Making that breakthrough after much trial and error.
Q. What's one thing about you few people know?
A. I love cars – wrenching on them, and especially driving them. My latest project is an engine swap into my pickup truck.
Q. What is your personal motto or mantra?
A. My personal motto is failure is nothing to be afraid of, it is just the natural progression to solving a problem.
At CyntrX, we love meeting the needs of our telematics customers -- and it's people like Luke who make it happen for them on a daily basis.
